6. Beat Circus is a band from Boston, Massachusetts fronted by multi-instrumentalist / singer-songwriter Brian Carpenter, who has been its only constant member since its inception. The band's songs are characterized by lush arrangements, eclectic instrumentation, and Carpenter's lyrical themes of love, death, religion, and American mythologies.

7. Dec 30,  · They have a fantastic CD called Ringleaders Revolt, a mix of circus and tango, with a twist. They also have a CD to be released in January called Dreamland, loosley based on the people of New York and Coney Island at the turn of the century- it has a very creepy feel to it.
