Carmen McRae is at the height of her vocal powers for this recording, both sounding like a vocal siren and having a rich, guttural quality that women develop as they mature. She does justice to every standard she sings on the album, with my personal favorites being 'Feeling Good' and 'Love For Sale'/5(7).
